This photographic series addresses the relationship between physical and virtual worlds. Challenging the role of the screen, built spaces undergoing refurbishment are revealed through smeared glass panes streaked with reflections. Unfinished and disordered, these transitory spaces are captured without the associated noise and movement.
Shifted frames fracture the reality we perceive as objects are repeated from varying viewpoints or disappear unexpectedly. As opposed to viewing a concrete, Euclidean space, we are confronted with a distortion of the physical: the photograph as yet another screen.
